As an archaeologist hailing from the vibrant city of London, I have a profound appreciation for historical settings, and my recent experience at this charming inn was truly delightful. I especially value establishments offering excellent dining options and a warm atmosphere, both of which I found in abundance here. Upon arrival, I was greeted with genuine hospitality and a menu that boasted remarkable culinary creations. The venison pie, accompanied by decadently fried chips, was a particular highlight. The ambiance of the inn, steeped in history and complemented by well-decorated rooms, created a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the stunning Cotswolds. The lovely breakfast served each morning was the cherry on top of an already delightful stay, making it an ideal base for visiting local attractions. I left with a full heart and a promise to return for a longer stay in this picturesque location.
